LIBRARY

A spacious Library, with its interesting collection of books, attracts students and instills reading habit among them. A variety of journals and magazines - national and international are also available to widen their knowledge.

Library Rules

  1. Library opens at 8.00 in the morning and closes at 4.15 in the evening.
  2. When the library opens we will put the date seal in all the registers like gate register, issue register, reference register, digital library register and in the Xerox register.
  3. Library receives The Hindu and Dhinamalar newspaper, which will be sealed and placed for display.
  4. Students are given two cards to borrow books, each for a card.
  5. Students are allowed to hold books for a period of 14 days.
  6. For delay in return Rs.2/per day will be collected from the students. Collected fine details are been registered in the Fine Register.
  7. Issues to the students are made during the library hour, break time, lunch time and after the college hour.
  8. There is weekly library hour for all the 2nd and final year students.
  9. Staffs are allowed to borrow 5 books at a time.
  10. No fine will be collected from the staff.
  11. If some students need to refer the library during the class hour they have to get permission from their department staff.
  12. Journal and Magazines are allowed to refer inside the library.
  13. Digital Library will be open at 8 am in the morning.
  14. Students are allowed to use digital library during break hours, they also permitted to use during their class hours by providing a permission letter from their department staff.
  15. Xerox will be taken for student at cost of Rs.1/sheet, the details are recorded in the Reprography register.
  16. All students and staffs must sign the register while entering the library.
  17. All students and staffs must sign the digital library register while entering the digital library.
