About Us :

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering was established in the year 2006 with the under graduate Programme and the Post Graduate Programme was started in the year 2011 with the objective to provide high quality technical education to the students enabling them to excel in the fields of Engineering. The department of Computer Science and Engineering shares the mission and vision of the institute in imparting high quality education to the students. Besides fulfilling the requirements of the syllabus prescribed by the University, the program offers students the opportunity to work on diverse hardware and software platforms. The Department is well equipped with laboratories installed with a variety of software catering the need of the students.

The department has comparatively young and dynamic faculty who strive to achieve excellence in teaching and molding the future computer professionals. The department is known for its discipline and for the importance it gives to equip the students to meet the challenges of the highly competitive software market.

The conduct of seminars to inculcate the art of culling out study material from journals and the honing communication skills will be emphasized on. Special guest lectures covering latest developments and trends in the field of Computer Science and Engineering will be added feature.

Focusing on research, the Under-Graduate and Post-Graduate students actively involve themselves in research across various areas of Computer Science. They also periodically publish their work in National and International Conferences and reputed Journals. In Academic Activities, staff members are providing the information about the subjects they are handling. Students are counseled and motivated to bring out their best performance. Overall development of students in all fields for a full grown healthy personality striving continuously for excellence in research and development to serve the nation in individual field of choice.

• About 60 % of students are placed in various reputed organizations through campus recruitment.
