Facilities :
Alpha College of Engineering is
situated in an elegantly landscaped 60-acre campus
with one lac sq.ft. of scientifically designed
building. The state-of-the-art infrastructure
include well-equipped laboratories, advanced instrumentation,
research & industry oriented facilities as
part of 'Centre for Biomedical Instrumentation'
that houses CT Scan, X-Ray, C-Arm and other high-end
biomedical instruments rarely found in educational
institutions.
Hostel
The college has separate hostels
for boys and girls, located inside the college
campus.
To ensure a well-secured and congenial
atmosphere, the hostels adopt strict and transparent
residential strategies. The hostel provides safety
measures for all students. State-of-art, structures
provide the students to feel in an pleasurable
atmosphere and available of Wi-Fi (wireless fidelity)
facility.
Special features are administered
for the International and Chinese students including
mess facilities.
Rules and Regulations
1.
Students are admitted to the hostel for the period
from the date of admission to the last working
day of the academic year, and hostel rent should
be paid for the whole year in advance.
2.
Students leaving the hostel before the completion
of the above said period will forfeit the fees
and deposits paid.
3.
A student will have to stay in the room allotted
to him with two or more inmates.
4.
Inmates of the room are jointly responsible for
furniture and fittings in the room and the cost
of any damage will be recovered from them.
5.
All the dining halls are run by the hostel only
after confirming that the facilities available
are suitable to them. After joining, no complaint
or request will be entertained.

Students are required to join the hostel only

7.
Students are not permitted to use electrical appliances
such as tape-recorders, heater, iron etc., in
the hostel.
8.
Guests or outsiders are strictly prohibited from
entering the hostel without prior permission of
the warden in-charge.

All in-mates must be in the hostel before 6.30
p.m
10.
Any student who desires to stay outside the hostel
overnight should obtain prior permission from
the warden.
11.
Students should maintain strict silence in the
hostel during the study hours to be prescribed
and after 9.00 pm
12.
Students are warned not to bring valuables to
the hostel. The Institution is not responsible
in case of theft or damage.
LIBRARY
The college has a well -equipped
library with books, periodicals and journals that
are o utmost value to the students taking up any
of the courses offered by the college.
Rules
1.
The library is open on all working days from 9.30
am to 5 pm and from 9.40 am to 1.00 pm on Saturdays.
The issue counter will close at 2.00 pm on week
days.
2.
Absolute silence must be maintained in the library
3.
On entering the library, the students should place
all personal belongings on the racks assigned
for the purpose at the entrance.
4.
When a book issued is lost or damaged, the student
shall replace the book or pay the cost within
7 days.
5.
Loss of a Borrower's ticket should immediately
be reported to the Librarian in writing. Fine
will be charged towards the cost of the ticket.
6.
Violation of library rules will be dealt with
severely.
7.
All students should return the tickets at the
end of the year and obtain a "No due Certificate"
from the Librarian.
8.
Students are advised to keep their identity cards
and library tickets safe. The owner of the card
is responsible for book borrowed against his/her
name.
TRANSPORT
The College has bus feasibility
from different parts of the City. All students
in their interests, are expected to travel in
the college bus.
Girl students should compulsorily
opt for the college bus. Those girls who do not
use the college bus should get the necessary written
permission from the Principal for using any other
mode of conveyance.
Rules & Regulations
1.
Students shall opt for the bus conveyance in the
beginning of the year by paying the fee in advance.
2.
Students should board the buses only at the boarding
point and Route No's mentioned in their identity
cards.
3.
Students should carry their bus identity card
always and produce it everyday when demanded by
the staff in-charge. Loss of identity card should
be reported and a duplicate card will be issued
on paying a fee of Rs. 50/- Any student found
misusing the bus will be fined heavily and strict
disciplinary action will be taken against such
students.
4.
Seating arrangements would be instructed by the
bus staff in-charge and students should strictly
adhere to the seating arrangements.
5.
Strict discipline should be maintained inside
the buses. Lecturers are empowered to take immediate
disciplinary action, including de-boarding from
the bus, students found indulging in any form
of in-disciplinary activities.
6.
The college reserves the right to withdraw the
bus identity card in case of undesirable activities
by students.
7.
Stringent disciplinary action will be initiated
against any student violating the above rules.
