Alpha College of Engineering is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), affiliated to Anna University, Chennai and is approved by the Government of Tamil Nadu. The College commenced operations in the year 2006-07, with four branches with an intake of 240 students and in two years the intake was increased to 360 and an Additional branch. Within a short span of time the college has credited itself with a reknowned name amongst the student community.

Alpha College of Engineeringand is located at four kms on Bangalore Highway from Poonamallee, Chennai.
