WORKSHOP
on Intellectual Property rights organized by IGNITE
of Alpha College of Engineering.
As by saying "Every team
work, holds good", the workmanship of CSE
& IT, IGNITE association turned out to put
on a good show on the workshop on IPR. The students
along with the staff worked towards the layouts
and arrangements of this workshop held from 10.30
am to 12.45 pm on 10.9.2008.
The Intellectual Property Rights
(IPR) workshop was organized for CSE, IT and MBA
students for preparing patents for their projects.
In his special address Dr. H. Peeru Mohammed,
Director, Centre for IPR motivated the students
to gain the indepth knowledge about IPR. Dr. R.
Dilli Babu, Deputy Director, Center for IPR delivered
the keynote address,Mr. V. Rengasamy, and Mr.
R.Devan, Asst Controller of Patent & Designs
and Shri. K. Anbudurai handled the sessions. They
gave an introduction to IPR initially and stated
the rules and regulations to get patent. Various
case studies were also presented.
The session helped the students
to picturize their goals towards patenting their
projects.
